Resilience
A story of courage
PSS Bafut's history is also a story of courage and resilience. The regional crisis brought attacks, displacement and a sharp decline in enrolment, but the school community refused to surrender its educational mission.
Through the determination of students, teachers, parents, the Presbyterian Church, alumni and community partners, teaching and learning continued under difficult conditions. A dormitory used by displaced students at PSS Mankon was rehabilitated in 2021 by Bafut Council, with new roofing, windows, ceilings, flooring, solar power and fire extinguishers.
